This course is addressed to primary and secondary school teachers of any specialization, for those who would like to become aware and empowered in terms of integrating the concepts and the activities related to loss and grief into and out their school practice.

The course will be based in Treviso, located in the north of Italy and near Venice.
Two excursions will take place, one in Treviso and one in Venice with a tour to places related to the subject (a monumental cemetery and to the Treviso Civic Museum).
All transportation costs are provided by the organizer and are included in the price.
Participants will be engaged in workshops using new techniques and tools regarding the loss and grief.
In general, the participants will finish the course with a specific point of view, so they could feel more confident and empathic with the children or teenagers that are passing through this situation.
Also, the course will include several materials and visits relevant to the topic.

Terms and Conditions (On-site Course)
1. Object and Pricing
These Terms and Conditions apply to the enrollment in the professional training course “Death Education in the Classroom”, held in person in Italy. The total tuition fee is €400 (VAT included).
2. Payment Schedule
To ensure the viability of the course and logistics, the following payment structure is established:
- Reservation Deposit (20%): A payment of €80 is required at least 14 days before the start date. This deposit confirms your spot and covers initial administrative and booking costs.
- Balance (80%): The remaining €320 must be settled during the course period, according to the specific dates provided by the administration.
3. Cancellation and Non-Attendance Policy
- Non-Refundable Deposit: Since this is an on-site course with limited capacity, the 20% deposit is non-refundable. In the event of a “no-show” or cancellation by the participant, this amount will be retained by the organization to cover damages for the blocked vacancy and administrative overhead.
- Course Interruption: If a participant decides to leave the course after it has commenced, no partial or full refunds of the amounts already paid will be issued.
4. Venice Field Trip: Logistics and Fees
The course includes a guided visit to Venice with round-trip transportation provided.
- Included: Private/Public transport (as specified in the program) from the meeting point.
- Excluded (Mandatory Participant Cost): The Venice Access Fee (Contributo di Accesso).
- Participants are legally required to manage their own registration on the official Venice municipal portal.
- The fee must be paid individually. Failure to present the QR code to local authorities may result in fines for which the organization is not responsible.
5. Accommodation and Meals
The Course fee of €400 covers tuition, materials, and the transportation for the Venice visit as specified in the section 4. Accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are not included in the price. Participants are responsible for arranging and funding their own lodging and meals during the duration of the course.
6. Intellectual Property
All physical or digital materials provided during the sessions are for the personal use of the participant only. Any unauthorized copy, recording, or distribution is prohibited under Italian Copyright Law.
7. Health and Safety
Participants must comply with the safety regulations of the venue where the course is held. The organization is not liable for accidents caused by the participant’s failure to follow safety instructions or improper use of facilities.
8. Privacy (GDPR)
Data collected during registration will be processed according to the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). Your data will be used exclusively for the management of the course and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.
9. Governing Law and “Double Signature” (Italy)
This agreement is governed by Italian Law.
Important: According to Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code, certain clauses (such as the non-refundable deposit and limitations of liability) require specific approval. By signing the registration form, the participant expressly accepts sections 3, 7, and 8 of these Terms.
